Session Fees/ Deposits

All deposits|session fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. No exceptions! This fee covers initial communication, all planning, location hunting, and block off a specific time frame for your session and it also covers the time and skills invested by Dre Lamar Photography.
Your deposit is due immediately upon reservation of your session.
We will not reserve a date or time without payment.
Non-refundable deposits and sessions will be forfeited if:
- Clients cancel more than one time for the same session
- Cancellation is made less than 48 hours prior to a session
We require full payment (via cash, check, or credit) before release of any digitals, prints or products. Online galleries, blog posts and social media sneak peeks will not be posted until all payments are made. No order will be designed or submitted until paid in full. No Exceptions!

Rescheduling/cancellation

If you need to reschedule for any reason, we ask that you give a 48 hrs notice. One cancellation is allowed per session.
Please plan enough time to get to your session. Whether that be getting the kids ready or navigating through rush hour traffic. If you are running late, please call us.
If you have a 60 minute session scheduled and you are 20 minutes late, you will then have a 40 minute session. If you are more than 30 minutes late without calling, you will forfeit your booking fee and we will have the right to cancel the session.
If you no call no show, you are forfeiting your booking fee and we will not schedule with you again. Please be mindful that when we block off a time spot for you, we are holding that spot for only you. Therefore, we are not able to schedule someone else. We will not tolerate no call no show clients.
Dre Lamar Photography reserves the right to reschedule any session due to photographer illness, personal emergency, or inclement weather. If we are late, we will communicate that with you and your session time will not be affected.

Digitals

Dre Lamar Photography cannot guarantee the results or quality of prints made by clients or by clients' chosen labs. For consistent, quality results made to last a lifetime, please purchase your prints directly from Dre Lamar Photography.
Please back up all digital copies of your photographs. We recommend an external hard drive or flash drive.
Dre Lamar Photography will make every effort to retain your files for up to 2 months from the date of your session. There will be a $25 gallery upload fee in the event the clients gallery expires and they need need a gallery re-uploaded.

Portrait sessions

Dre Lamar Photography strives to have your portraits ready to view within 1-2 weeks after your session. A preview gallery will be sent out within 3 days of your session. We appreciate your patience.
My goal is for your 100% satisfaction with your session and images. In the event the photographer has any technical issues (equipment malfunction, computer malfunction, etc.) there will be no charge for a re-shoot. However, I cannot offer free re-shoots for any of the following reasons: dissatisfaction with clothing, facial expressions, hair, wind or other reasons out of my control.

Weddings & events

A deposit is due immediately to reserve your event date, along with your signed contract. We will not reserve a date or time without BOTH your payment and the signed contract. The remainder of your full balance is due no later than 2 weeks before your event date.
Dre Lamar Photography strives to have your event images ready to view and order within 6-8 weeks after your event date. However, due to the level of attention we provide to your images, your wait may be longer. We appreciate your patience!

Dre Lamar Photography is committed to your privacy. Information collected from clients over the phone, in person, or through the website is kept confidential. Information will not be shared or sold to third parties.
